Berita Yudha, 8 Oktober 1965. First issue using 'Gestapu': Gerwani appears five times as an organisation to be dissolved, including Perti, PMKRI and Sarbumusi backing the NU-PSII demand to dissolve 'PKI, PR, Gerwani, CGMI, Lekra'.
Berita Yudha, 12 Oktober 1965. Front-page report that crowds in Yogyakarta (5–6 Oct 1965) put up placards 'Who killed the Heroes of the Revolution? Gerwani-PR' and destroyed PKI and IPPI offices; an early link of Gerwani to the killings.
