Het Nieuws (Algemeen Dagblad) report (4 Jul 1947, p.1): Sukarno addressed the new Sjarifuddin cabinet, hoping for a 'policy of peace'. The cabinet has 33 ministers and vice-ministers; the minister of labour, Miss Trimurti, is the only woman member. Notes Wondoamiseno's appointment and Sultan of Yogyakarta's retention.
