Setyiadjid.

Talks with some ministers
Djokjakarta, 4 July (Antara): In an interview with an "Antara" editor the new minister of education, Mr. Ali Sastroamidjojo, declared that at the moment no overview of the educational policy to be followed can yet be given, but it is certain that he will follow a national policy with regard to education. Concerning upbringing he said he was not pessimistic. He himself is very much against the colonial educational system, which is very harmful to the people. The minister of state for labour affairs, Mrs. S. K. Trimoerti [Trimurti], likewise declared to an "Antara" editor that the labour organisation must be strengthened still more, in order to be able to face all eventualities. The labour movement must be led to the national battle front. Because many factories and parts of factories were destroyed or carried off by the Dutch and the Japanese, Indonesia has a shortage of production — thus Mrs. Trimoerti. On the labour-wage question she said that first of all the total of consumption and of articles to be distributed must be considered. Subsequently the vice-minister of foreign affairs, Mr. Tamzil, declared that the foreign policy to be conducted will not differ from the policy that was conducted during the previous cabinet. Concessions can be made if these do not harm the de facto authority of the Republic. A new delegation will be formed and will be led by one of the vice-premiers, most probably drs. Setyiadjid [Setiadjit].
