Gerwani’s bezwaren (Keberatan Gerwani)

In een verklaring heeft het hoofdbestuur Van de Gerwani (Gerakan Wanita Indonesia — de Indonesische vrouwenbeweging) bezwaren naar voren gebracht tegen de komst van John Foster Dulles in Indonesië, zomede tegen interventie van Dulles in binnenlandse aangelegenheden van het Indonesische volk en ook tegen de politiek van. Dulles om Indonesië over te halen zich bij de SEATO aan te sluiten. „De SEATO is in strijd met dc principes van het besluit van de A-A-conferentie, die vrede en vriendschap beoogt, als absolute garanties van het welzijn van het volk", aldus o.m. de verklaringen van de Gerwani.

"SEATO is contrary to the principles of the decision of the A-A conference, which aims at peace and friendship as absolute guarantees of the people's welfare," said, among other things, the Gerwani's statements.
