Salatiga: Nationaal comité van actie (Salatiga: National action committee)

Op initiatief van de '.plaatselijke afdelingen van SOBSÏ, 8.T.1. (Barisan Tani Indonesia), P.P.D.I. (Persatuan Pamong Desa, Indonesia), Pemuda Rakjat en Gerwis (Gerakan Wanita Sedar) werd op 27 Juli in de Gedung Rakjat te Salatiga een gecombineerde vergadering gehouden met vertegenwoordigers van 35 organisaties en politieke partijen. De vergadering werd geleid door de algemene secietaris van de SOBSI, de heer Na ampele bespreking is besloten tot de., vorming van een nationaal comité van actie. Een open brief zal worden gezonden aan President Sukarno, waarbij er bij de regering op wórdt aangedrongen om zo spoedig mogelijk uitvoering te geven aan de besluiten van het parlement, voorts een intensieve bestrijding van D.1., Til en andere benden, die het volk benadelen.

The meeting was chaired by the general secretary of SOBSI, Mr. [name unreadable]. After ample discussion it was decided to form a national action committee. An open letter will be sent to President Sukarno, urging the government to carry out the decisions of parliament as soon as possible, and furthermore to combat intensively D.I. [Darul Islam], T.I.I. [Tentara Islam Indonesia] and other bands that harm the people.
