11■ t programma voor dc tien dagen van het bezoek van, president Quirino is als volgt samengesteld: Heden spreekt de Philippijnse president het parlement toe. Hij brengt daarna een bezoek aan het gemeentehuis. Des middags volgt een rondrit door Djakarta. De eerste volle dag van het bezoek wordt besloten met een staatsbanket, aangeboden door president Soekarno in het palcis Negara. Vrijdag wordt voor het Merdekapaleis om acht uur een parade gehouden. Nadat president Quirino in de loop van de ochtend een bezoek beeft gebracht aan het Museum, zal hij des middags tezamen met president Soekarno een radiotoespraak tot het Philippijnse volk houden. Des avonds is er een tuinfeest ten paleize Merdeka. Zaterdag vertrekt het Philippijnse gezelschap naar Bogor, vanwaar de reis wordt voortgezet naar Bandung, Jogjakarta, Bali en Surabaja. De volgende week Zaterdag, 26 Juli, komt president Quirino weer in de hoofdstad terug. Op die dag staan een persconfercntie_.in het paleis Negara, een bijeenkomst met dc Philippijnse gemeenschap te Djakarta et? een tocht naar Kebajoran op het programma. In Hotel des Indes zal presirtcnl Quirino des avonds een staatsbanket aanbieden'ter ére van zijn gastheer, president Soekarno. I)e dag wordt besloten met een uitvoering van verschillende Indonesische dansen in het palcis Negara. Zondag 27 Juli. tenslotte zal president Quirino niet zijn gezelschap per vliegtuig terugkeren naar Manila A Aan mevrouw Salawali is Dinsdagavond heeft voorzitter van de staf van Keamanan der provincie Celebes ten huize van de gouverneur een blijk van waardering aangeboden wegens „bijzd'-e verdiensten bij het streven naar hcrst_..van rust en orde" in dit gebied.
