Manifest over Tunesië (Manifesto on Tunisia)

Het Panitya Pembantu Tunisia (comité tot steunverlening aan Tunesië) heeft een manifest uitgegeven, dat ondertekend is door de leden van het comité M. Natsir, mr Sunario, mr Hamid Algadrie, mr A.M. Tambunan, I.J. Kasimo, Arudji Kartawinata, S.M. Abidin, Subadio Sastrosatomo, Sundjoto, Sumarto, mr Tadjuddin Noor, mr Djody Gondokusumo, Suchjar Tedjasukmana, Djawoto, mevr. Suwarni Pringgodigde, mr Assaat Zainal Arifin en H. Siradjuddin Abbas. Voorts werd de verklaring ondertekend door: Sidik Djojosukarto namens de PNI, mr Tambunan namens de Parkindo, Moh. Natsir namens de Masjumi, Djohan Sjahruzah namens de PSI, mr Maria Ulfa Santoso namens de Kowani, Sahetapy Engel namens de democratische fractie, Rustam St. Palindih namens de PRN, mr M. Yamin als partijloos, H. Siradjuddin Abbas namens de Perti, mevr. S.K. Trimurti namens de Gerwis, mr Tadjuddin Noor namens de PIR, J.B. Assa namens de Permai, mevr. [Unreadable] namens de Partai Wanita Rakjat, Dahlan Ranuwihardjo namens de HMI en Radjab namens de PPMI. In de verklaring wordt ongerustheid uitgesproken over de ontwikkelingen in Tunesië. Gezegd wordt, dat men zich volledig achter de Tunesische vrijheidsstrijd stelt en dat men protesteert tegen de onmenselijke politiek en wetgeving van Frankrijk in Tunesië.

In the statement concern is expressed about the developments in Tunisia. It is said that one places oneself fully behind the Tunisian struggle for freedom and protests against France's inhuman policy and legislation in Tunisia.
