It was decided to organise a Komando Demonstrasi [demonstration command], consisting of representatives of the Committee of August Raid [victims], the Sobsi and the K.K.K.S. [Translator's note: abbreviation as in OCR; likely R.K.K.S.], the kampong organisation. This morning this committee presented itself to the D.P.K.N. [Translator's note: abbreviation as OCR'd], the former PAM [Translator's note: sic] here in the city, and a request for permission for this demonstration was handed over. The committee thereupon received from the D.P.K.N. the communication that no permission could be granted for the announced demonstration. From the side of the Komando Demonstrasi we learned that it will now determine its standpoint further. This morning a delegation of the Committee of August Raids left for Jakarta [Djakarta] to go for an audience with the President, in order to obtain information about the fate of the S.O.B.
