Begroeting Gerwani

De strijd voor een vreedzame regeling van de kwestie 'Nieuw-Guinea stond nummer één oo het strijdprogramma, dat de vrouwen bespraken. Hoogiopunt daarbij was de begroeting van de 900.000-leden tellende Indonesische vrouwenorganisatie GERWANI, waarin o.a. wordt gezegd, dat de Indonesische vrouwen, in het bijzonder zij, die in de GERWANI georganiseerd zijn, met de meeste aandacht de strijd van de 900.000 leden tellende Indone„temeer omdat zij sedert lange tijd nauw met elkander verbonden zijn in onze gemeenschappelijke strijd ter bescherming van onze kinderen tegen het gevaar van een nieuwe oorlog".
