Republikeinen willen Madioen ontzetten

De voorbereidingen voor het ontzetten van Madioen door de troepen van de republikeinse'regering zijn voltooid, zo meldt radio-Djokja. In verschillende plaatsen inde republiek zijn speciale voorzorgsmaatregelen genomen tegen de communistische leiders. Te Magelang heeft de republikeinse politie de voornaamste communistische leiders, die opgenomen zijn in het FDR (democratisch volksfront) gearresteerd. Er is een avondklok -ingestpld. Te Kediri is een avondklok ingesfëld, terwijl alle regeringskantoren en strategische punten onder militaire bewaking zijn gesteld. Het Kedirische gebied is onder militair bestuur gesteld. De toestand in Solo. Aneta mpldt, dat volgens een bericht van radio-Djokja, te Solo (Soerakarta) de pasars weer normaal functioneren. Volgens deze republikeinse zender is de toestand te Solo, welke plaats de laatste dagen het toneel was van onderlinge vechtpartijen, weer tot rust gekomen, nadat de militaire commandant, kolonel Gatot Soebroto de elkander bestrijdende partijen voor een bespreking bijeen had geroepen. De Soesöehoenan van Soerakarta heeft een rede gehouden voor radio-Solo, waarin hij verklaarde, achter de regering Soekarno-Hatta te staan en deze te erkennen als de enige wettige republikeinse regering. Strijdorganisaties worden ontwapend. Behalve de arrestatie van commuliistenleiders in verschillende plaatsen van het republikeinse gebied, komen thans berichten binnen over ontwapening van strijdorganisaties die onder invloed staan van bij de communisten aangesloten linkse groeperingen. Radio Djokja vernam uit Oost-Java, dat de ontwapening dezer (organisaties, die gepaard ging met arrestaties onder de leden, aldaar voltooid is. De „militaire gouverneur van Madioen”. De 27-jarige kolonel Djokosoejono, die door de communisten is benoemd tot „militair gouverneur van Madioen”, was eender naaste medewerkers van generaal Soetomo (Boeng Tomo). Twee terroristen te Semarang geëxecuteerd Twee terroristen die in Juli deelnamen aan overvallen op militaire posten inde omgeving van Salatiga zijn geexecuteerd. Bij de overvallen dwongen zij vrouwen uit kampongs voorop te lopen om de terroristen tot dekking tè dienen. Als gevolg hiervan werden twee Indonesische vrouwen gedood. Republikeinse zuiveringsactie op Sumatra Enige dagen geleden meldde Aneta’s correspondent te Medan, dat in republikeins Sumatra de tweede „sociale revolutie” was uitgebroken. Het republikeinse radiostation te Fort de Koek, meldt thans, dat „enkele oneerlijke militaire autoriteiten te Padang Sidempoean, Sibolga en Taroetoeng (in het Tapanoelische op Sumatra) op bevel van de veligheidsdienst der TNI, zijn gearresteerd. Bij deze.arrestaties werden slechts enkele schoten gelost, waarbij een aantal militairen werd gedood, o.a. de kapitein Hasiboean, bataljonscommandant te Padang Sidempoean.. Overigens had de zuiveringsactie een rustig verloop, aldus een communiqué van republikeinse zijde. Wisseling van landvoogd enige maanden uifgesteld? < De „Nieuwsgier” vernam uit Den Haag, dat de Nederlandse regering in verband met de spanning in Indonesië besloten had de kwestie van de landvoogdwisseling enige maanden uitte stellen om daarna definitief een besluit te nemen na een nieuwe bespreking met dr. Van Mook. Het kabinet en de landvoogd bereikten inmiddels overeenstemming zowel ten aanzien' van de houding in verband met de ontwikkelingen inde reptfbliek als betreffende de structu.;" van de interim-regering, aldus het blad.
