Inbeslagneming Shellkapitaal in Indonesië gevraagd

DJAKARTA, 17 mei (A.P.) Twee gen op inbeslagneming van het Nederorganisaties, waarin de communisten de boventoon voeren, hebben aangedron landse kapitaal van de Dutch Shell Company of Indonesia. Perboem, een vakvereniging van Indonesische petroieumarbeiders, spoor de de regering aan, niet alleen de voorgenomen plannen tot naasting van alle petroleummaatschappijen door te zetten, maar ”ook het Nederlandse kapitaal in Dutch Shell” over te nemen. Ook de vrouwenorganisatie Gerwani, die gelieerd is aan de Indonesische communistische partij PKI, drong er bij de regering op aan, Nederlandse kapitaal, ”dat nog verborgen is ingemengde ondernemingen”, in beslag te nemen.

Perboem, a trade union of Indonesian petroleum workers, urged the government not only to carry through the planned nationalisation of all petroleum companies, but also to take over the "Dutch capital in Dutch Shell". The women's organisation Gerwani, which is affiliated with the Indonesian communist party PKI, also urged the government to seize Dutch capital "that is still hidden in mixed enterprises".
