Republikeins beraad (arrestatie van Francisca Fanggidaej na Madiun)

Het republikeinse kabinet h<->eft. tot. nog toe geen beslissing genomen ten aanzien van de recente informele onderhandelingen te Kalioerang tussen vice-president Hatta en de Nederlandse ministeriële delegatie, aldiis Antara. De door Hatta op 2 December j.l. aan het van het K.N.I.P. afgelegde verklaring betreffende de vraagstukken rondom de informele onderhandelingen en ook betreffende de Nederlandse alde mémoire, vormt nog niet het standpunt van het gehele kabinet, zo meldt Antara verder. Binnen enkele dagen zullen verschillende leden van het Werkcomlté over Hatta's verklaring hun mening zeggen. "IYTAAR aanleiding van ge-L" ruchten, dat de republikeinse regering thans bezig is maatregelen te nemen tegen de leden van de Gerakan Revolusi Rakjat (de communistisch getinte groepering onder Tan Malaka die in de plaats is getreden van het Democratische volksfront) wordt van officiële republikeinse zijde medegedeeld, dat di' onjuist, is. Wel is men overgegaan tot de arrestatie van Ibno<*- Parna vanwege een rede, welk-*--hij onlangs op de aloon-aloon te Djokja heeft gehouden, aldus meldt de Dienst voor Legercontacten. Er wordt nog melding gemaakt van verschillende groe~ pen rondzwervende communisten in het Kalkgebergte te"*.- Zuiden van Rembang. Op 29 November is een bende van 60 man gesignaleerd bij Tegalredjo; deze bende bewoog zich in de richting Wirosari. Voorts werd door een republikeins detachement te Todahan gemeld, dat ten Zuiden van de Dessall Plemsengir ongeveer 200 communisten op weg waren naar Grantil, Noordoost Wirosari. Over de arrestatie van de communistische leiders is te Djokja nog het volgende bekend gemaakt. Tegelijk met Kolonel Djokosoejono zijn ook gevangen genomen Sardjono van het Politburo der P.K.I. en Francisca Fangiday, die indertijd door de B.K.P.R.Ï. naar Praag werd afgevaardigd. Sardjono wordt thans in het ziekenhuis te Poerwodadi verpleegd, lydt aan een hartkwaal. Volgens de door Francisca verstrekte inlichtingen, waren er bij de troepen van Amir Sjarifoeddin 23 vrouwen. Veertien van haar hebben zich tegelijk mefr de 800 man overgegeven. Op 29 November hebben zich te Poerwodadi nog 7 vrouwen overgegeven. Tenslotte wordt medegedeeld, dat in totaal 1500 communisten zich met hun wapens hebben overgegeven. Een ander bericht meldt nog, dat Sjarifoeddin toen hij gearresteerd werd, zich bij Babalan bevond. Babalan ligt Oostelijk van Demak, vlak bij de S.Q.-lijn. •

=== [Page 1] === The republican cabinet has so far taken no decision regarding the recent informal negotiations at Kaliurang between vice-president Hatta and the Dutch ministerial delegation, so Antara reports. The statement made by Hatta on 2 December to the [Working Committee] of the K.N.I.P. concerning the questions surrounding the informal negotiations and also concerning the Dutch aide-mémoire does not yet represent the position of the whole cabinet, Antara reports further. Within a few days various members of the Working Committee will give their opinion on Hatta's statement. In response to rumours that the republican government is now taking measures against the members of the Gerakan Revolusi Rakjat (the communist-tinged grouping under Tan Malaka that has taken the place of the Democratic People's Front), it is announced from official republican side that this is incorrect. An arrest was indeed made of Ibnoe Parna because of a speech which he recently gave on the alun-alun at Djokja, according to the Army Contacts Service. Mention is also made of various groups of roving communists in the limestone mountains south of Rembang. On 29 November a gang of 60 men was sighted near Tegalredjo; this gang moved in the direction of Wirosari. Furthermore a republican detachment at Todanan reported that south of the Dessa Plemsengir about 200 communists were on their way to Grantil, northeast of Wirosari. About the arrest of the communist leaders the following has been announced in Djokja. Together with Colonel Djokosoejono, Sardjono of the Politburo of the P.K.I. and Francisca Fangiday [Francisca Fanggidaej], who at the time was delegated by the B.K.P.R.I. to Prague, were also taken prisoner. Sardjono is currently being nursed in the hospital at Poerwodadi, suffering from a heart condition. According to the information provided by Francisca, there were 23 women with the troops of Amir Sjarifoeddin. Fourteen of them surrendered together with more than 800 men. On 29 November 7 more women surrendered at Poerwodadi. Finally it is announced that in total 1500 communists have surrendered with their weapons. Another report says that Sjarifoeddin, when he was arrested, was near Babalan. Babalan lies east of Demak, close to the S.S. line.
