Text

=== [Page 1] === The communist member of parliament Suwarti has put questions to the government in connection with the recent confiscations of books by Karl Marx and the statement that followed shortly after by the spokesman of the attorney general, saying that the measure taken by the authorities "rests on lawful grounds". According to the spokesman the legislation contains provisions that can prohibit the publication of books if these are considered dangerous to the security of the state. Suwarti asks the government to state on which article of law the measures taken are based.
