Gerwani Midden-Sumatra eist doodstraf (Gerwani Central Sumatra demands death penalty)

Het bestuur van de Gerwani afdeling Midden-Sumatra heeft een schrijven gezonden aan de regering en openbare instanties, waarin voor Attamimi de doodstraf wordt geëistZoals bekend, is tegen Attamimi een proces aanhangig gemaakt op grond van de beschuldiging, ontucht te hebben gepleegd meteen vrouw, uit Pasuruan afkomstig, hetgeen- haar dood tot gevolg had. De Gerwani Midden-Sumatra heeft er voorts bij andere vrouwenorganisaties op aangedrongen, om de doodstraf te eisen tegen Attamimi.

As is known, a trial is pending against Attamimi on the charge of having committed indecency [ontucht, i.e. sexual assault] with a woman originating from Pasuruan, which resulted in her death. The Gerwani Central Sumatra has furthermore urged other women's organisations to demand the death penalty against Attamimi.
