Internationale kinderdag van GERWIS: geen centraal comité (Gerwis International Children's Day; no central committee)

De Indonesische vrouwenorganisatie GERWIS heeft bekendgemaakt, dat zij gezamenlijk met andere belangstellende organisaties de internationale kinderdag, 1 juni, zal vieren. In verband met de dezer dagen gehouden kinderweek heeft de GERWIS besloten dit jaar geen centraal comité te vormen ter viering van de internationale kinderdag. De viering zal aan de afdelingen van de organisatie worden overgelaten. Ter verduidelijking wordt nog in de bekendmaking van de GERWIS gezegd, dat de viering van de kinderweek in Djakarta een experiment was, voorgesteld en goedgekeurd op de laatste conferentie van het Kongres Wanita Indonesia.
