Positie van vrouwen besproken (Position of women discussed)

In het gebouw „Adhuc Stat" hield de Gerwani Woensdagavond een bijeenkomst ter verwelkoming van de vertegenwoordigsters van vrouwenorganisaties uit verschillende landen, o.a. uit Australië, Rusland en Nederland. Het woord werd gevoerd door de Australische afgevaardigde, mevrouw Allison Diekei, en de Nederlandse afgevaardigde, mevrouw Rie Lips, die sprak over de positie van de vrouw in Nederland. Hierna voerde de Russische afgevaardigde mevrouw Alexandra Kholopova het woord. Zij gaf een overzicht van de positie van de vrouw in Rusland, en de studiemogelijkheden voor de jeugd aldaar.

=== [Page 1] === Position of women discussed In the building "Adhuc Stat" the Gerwani held a meeting on Wednesday evening to welcome the representatives of women's organisations from various countries, including Australia, Russia and the Netherlands. The floor was taken by the Australian delegate, Mrs. Allison Diekei, and the Dutch delegate, Mrs. Rie Lips, who spoke about the position of women in the Netherlands. After this the Russian delegate Mrs. Alexandra Kholopova spoke. She gave an overview of the position of women in Russia and of the study opportunities for youth there.
