Expositie Aziatische mode (Exposition of Asian fashion)

Onder de auspiciën van vrouwenorganisaties van landen van de Pan Pacific en Z.0.-Azië werd dinsdagavond in rje balzaal van het Plazahotel in New Vork een expositie van nationale costumes en muziek van Japan, Korea, Vietnam, de Philippijnen, Indonesië, China, Ceylon, Cambodja en Pakistan gehouden. Van Indonesische zijde hebben aan deze tentoonstelling deelgenomen: Sukanti Surjotjondro, het echtpaar Ibrahim, Nelly Kawilarang, Winarti Partodiningrat, Lelly Sjahriah Abdurrachman en Sulami Sujud. — Het hoofd van de politie op Bangka, commissaris drs. Goenopranoto, is op 29 januari er in geslaagd een clandestiene bank op Bangka die geleid werd door een zekere Tjin Kia Sm op te rollen. Tientallen andere buitenlanders, onder wie twee vrouwen, zijn in dit verband gearresteerd.

On the Indonesian side the following took part in this exhibition: Sukanti Surjotjondro, the Ibrahim couple, Nelly Kawilarang, Winarti Partodiningrat, Lelly Sjahriah Abdurrachman and Sulami Sujud. — The head of the police on Bangka, commissioner Drs.
