DJAKARTA. The committee of cooperating parties has, according to a communiqué issued, in connection with the statement issued last Friday by the Dutch High Commissioner, decided to urge the government to declare Count Van Bylandt persona non grata. The committee comprises 31 parties and organisations, including the Partai Kommunis Indonesia, the Partai Nasional Indonesia, the Partai Buruh, the Partai Serikat Islam Indonesia, the Nahdatul Ulama, the Perbepsi, the Gerwani, the Partai Indonesia Raya, the Parindra and the Sobsi. At the departure of the Indonesian minister of foreign affairs for the Netherlands, on 22 June, the committee made a statement which Count Van Bylandt in his well-known statement called "deeply saddening".
