Oude, trouwe communisten? Peter Schumacher smeekt om clementie voor die oude, trouwe communisten tegen Soeharto's moorddadige vrees. Hoe mooi barmhartigheid ook is, zij mag de waarheid niet omdraaien. Men schijnt in Nederland niet meer te weten wat de z.g. generaalsmoord bij Lubang Buaya is, de plaats waar zes vermoorde generaals in een put gesmeten werden. Historisch staat deze moord op naam van de P.K.I., daarbij geholpen door de communistische vrouwen van de Gerwani (Gerakan Wanita Indonesia). Het opgraven van die verminkte lijken is op de televisie te volgen geweest. Ook schijnt men in Nederland niet te weten hoe jarenlang de publiciteitsmedia doodsbang geweest zijn voor de LEKRA, een soort Indonesische Kulturkammer waarvan een van de kopstukken heette Pramudya Ananta Tur alias PRAM. Intussen is hij in Nederland de grote martelaar aan het worden, op weg geduwd door Nederlanders naar een Nobelprijs. Zo werkt dat als men goed de propagandamiddelen weet te bespelen.
