JAKARTA (Reuter) — Een vrouwelijke communistische leider in Indonesië is tot 20 jaar gevangenisstraf veroordeeld 'vanwege haar betrokkenheid bij de mislukte communistische coup van 1965', zo heeft het Indonesische persbureau Antara gisteren bekendgemaakt. De rechtbank achtte vorige week het 'aandeel van mevrouw Sutinah Wiryosutejo, voormalig lid van de nu verboden communistische vrouwenorganisatie Gerwani, aan de omstreden staatsgreep bewezen.

JAKARTA (Reuter) - A female communist leader in Indonesia has been sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment "because of her involvement in the failed communist coup of 1965", the Indonesian news agency Antara announced yesterday. Last week the court found the part played by Mrs Sutinah Wiryosutejo [Sutinah Wiryosutedjo], former member of the now banned communist women's organisation Gerwani, in the disputed coup proven.
