Text

Haar onderzoek heet voluit „The Politicization of Gender Relations in Indonesia, The Indonesian Women's Movement and Gerwani Until the New Order State."

English translation

=== [Page 1] === A wrong telephone number was given in the review of the survey exhibition of Paul Cézanne (Trouw of Saturday, page 15). For a visit at specific hours to this exhibition, which runs until 7 January at the Grand Palais in Paris, one can call no. 00 33 1 49 87 54 54. COUP. For the article about the coup in Indonesia in the paper of last Saturday 30 September use was made of many books that have appeared over the years on that subject. Conversations were also held with a number of experts in that field. Thus the author of the article also made use of a conversation with anthropologist Wieringa and her research concerning the politicisation of gender relations in Indonesia, for which she obtains her doctorate on Friday 6 October at the University of Amsterdam. Although her name and her research are mentioned in the article, the acknowledgement of sources is too meagre. Furthermore the first quotation in the article comes entirely from the research. Her research is titled in full "The Politicization of Gender Relations in Indonesia, The Indonesian Women's Movement and Gerwani Until the New Order State."
