WIDF delegation member Mrs. Mudigdio and others arrive in Beijing [People's Daily 1959-09-24, page 6] According to Xinhua, 23rd – Members of the delegation of the Women's International Democratic Federation who came to our country at the invitation of the All-China Women's Federation of the People's Republic of China to watch the National Day celebrations: Mrs. Mudigdio [穆迪迪约夫人, Mudigdo], member of the WIDF Council, member of parliament in the Communist Party group of the Indonesian parliament and vice-chairman of the Indonesian Women's Movement Association [Gerwani, 印度尼西亚妇女运动协会], and Takada Kinko [高田琴子], director of the secretariat of the Fukushima Mothers' Conference of Japan, arrived in Beijing by plane this morning. Other members of the delegation – Noreen Hewitt [诺琳·休伊特], national president of the Union of Australian Women; Helen Kesian [海伦·凯西安], executive committee member of the Congress of Canadian Women; and Grace Ayensu [格雷斯·阿延苏], member of the Sekondi-Takoradi city council in Ghana – had already arrived in Beijing on the 21st and 22nd respectively.
