Welcoming them at the station were Shi Liang, vice-chairman of the All-China Women's Federation, Burhan, president of the China-Indonesia Friendship Association and vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Committee for the Defence of World Peace, Zhu Lin, wife of Vice Foreign Minister Huang Zhen, members of the presidium and secretaries of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation, and vice-chairwomen of the Beijing Women's Federation. Officials of the Indonesian embassy in China also went to the station to welcome them. The guests arrived in Guangzhou on 13 September. Before coming to Beijing they visited Guangzhou, Shanghai, Nanjing and other places. (People's Daily database material)
