He added that "the main aim of the brigade will above all be to support the supply lines of the guerrillas." The Seven-Year Plan – a blow against international imperialism DJAKARTA [Jakarta], 27 April. (TASS). The General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Indonesia, Aidit, speaking at a public lecture, told of the 21st Congress of the CPSU, at which he had headed the delegation of the PKI. Noting the international significance of the Congress, Aidit described the USSR's Seven-Year Plan as the most important event of contemporary history and a grandiose programme for strengthening peace throughout the world. It is clear, he said, that the fulfilment of the Seven-Year Plan by the Soviet Union and of the economic plans of the other socialist countries will strengthen not only the socialist camp but the whole international anti-imperialist front. For the peoples of colonial and semi-colonial countries, and also of economically backward countries, the Soviet Union's fulfilment of its Seven-Year Plan means a blow against their enemy, that is, against international imperialism. The head of the women's department of the CC of the PKI, member of parliament Sukharti [Suharti], spoke about the active participation of the women of the Soviet Union in building communist society. Those present listened with great interest to the accounts of the delegation members about the work of the 21st CPSU Congress, and greeted with stormy applause the reports of the successes of the Soviet Union and of the other socialist [countries visited by the delegation].
