Mrs. S.K, Trimurty and Dr. THUNG Sin Nio (3282/2450/1224) are collecting subscriptions of money from pro-Communist Indonesian and Chinese women to raise R 250, 000 to finance the Gerakan Wanita Indonesia Serban (GERWIS - now GERWANI) Congress to be held in Djakarta between 25 and 31 March 1954. Other expenses which the fund is to shoulder are: &. Hotel and travel expenses of guests from abroad and speakers from Bandung, Jogjakarta, Surabaya and Makassar. b. Publication of booklets to be distributed to contributors and supporters of the congress. c. Maintenance expenses of the permanent secretariat. 2. The Chung Hua Chiao Tuan Tsing Hui (CHCTTH) has promised to contribute R 50,000 to the fund of the Congress. 1. Mrs. Trimurty and Dr. THUNG planned to establish a training program for nurses 25X1A for Communist groups in November 1953 In July 1953, Dr. THUNG was collecting funds for a public peace mee ing in Djakarta. 25X1A 2. Reateesae! as of September 1953, that the GERWIS was having financial ifficulties and had requested aid from the CHCTTH.
