Although they are separated, the hearts of the Korean and Indonesian peoples beat in unison. All Korean people support the struggle of the Indonesian people. Your struggle is a just struggle against the imperialists' aggression on Indonesi: and Southeast Asia. It is a struggle for the honor of the country and for world peace. Imperialism, which is threatening Indonesia, is your enemy as well as the Korean people's enemy. Imperialism is also the foe of all the Southeast Asian people and peace-loving people throughout the world. Your anti-imperialist struggle is our struggle, and your victory is at once our victory. In the future, too, we will actively support and encourage your righteous struggle. a The Korean people derive great impelling power from the active support of the Indonesian people in their struggle to drive the U.S. Army from | South Korea, and achieve the unification of the country. We are happy to have the 100 million Indonesian people as our spiritual volunteers in this struggle. We are especially happy to observe during our stay in Indonesia that the relations of our two countries have developed to the establishment of diplomatic relations at ambassadorial level... The establishment of aiplomatirelations is of epochal significance in consolidating support and cooperatioy between the two countries and in strengthening their friendship and solidar:’ in the anti-imperialist struggle. The friendship between the peoples of our two countries is a friendship for the prosperity of the two countries. This friendship is based on the Bandung spirit and is conducive to the solidarity of the new emerging forces. Only the imperialists hate our friendship and solidarity. We pay tribute to President Sukarno, the Indonesian Government, and the Indonesian people for their great contribution to the solidarity of the new emerging forces. The imperialists and their stooges are trying to kill the Bandung spirit, but in vain. The Korean people will remain at the side of the Indonesian people through any storm or stress.
