It also instructed all members and sympathizers of Gertasi to fully assist the armed forces in their effort to destroy the so-called 30 September Movement and to condemn this terrorist group as the eternal enemy of the Indonesian people. In its instruction, Gertasi also ordered all its members and sympathizers to launch an action to demand the dissolution of the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) and all its mass organizations and to demand the "heaviest possible punishment and the death sentence” for the elements and manipulators of the so-called 30 September Movement. Commenting on the obvious facts and the evidence in the hands of the authorities indicating that the 30 September Movement is a counterrevoluticnary movement manipulated by specific parties and mass organizations, the central executive board of the Communications and Transport Workers Union affiliated with the Indonesian Moslem Workers Union Federation (Gasbiindo) expressed its profound grief over the death of the heroes of the revolution as the result of the brutal and inhuman acts of that counterrevolutionary group. It also extended its highest salute to the Indonesian Republican Armed Forces {ABRI}, and particularly to the army, the navy, and the police force, which speedily and effectively succeeded in arresting counterrevolutionary elements who proved to be members of the people's youth (Pemuda Rakjat) and the Indonesian Women's Movement (Gerwani), both subsidiary organizations of the PKI. In its instruction to all its members, the union called on them to actively support the Indonesian Republican Armed Forces in their effort to restore security, and urged the President and Great Ieader of the Revolution to immediately disband PK and all its mass organizations, and to revoke forever publishing permits of newspapers which served as the PKI's mouthpiece. === [PDF page 2] === The central executive committee of the Indonesian Progressive Pioneer Youth (Pelopor Pemuda Progresif Indonesia), in its statement, expressed gratitude for the safety of the President and Great Leader of the Revolution Bung Karno, following the adventurist incident caused by the counterrevolutionary group, the so-called 30 September Movement, and voiced support for the statement made by the President, Commander in Chief and Great Leader of the Revolution on 2 October.
