7. PKI Central Committee Stamp Counterfeited Harian Rakjat of 9 May 1959 reported that the stamp of the PKI Central Committee had been counterfeited. Following is the full text of the article.
It is known to the Central Committee of the PKI that not long ago a certain party made a false "Central Committee of the Communist party of Indonesia" stamp, which is similar to the authorized stamp of the PKI Central Committee. There is a great possibility that the counterfeiter has already used the stamp to damage the good name of the PKI or to provoke the PKI.
In view of these circumstances, it is hoped that the public and all members and organizations of the PKI will carefully watch for the stamp of Central Committee of the Communist Party and will quickly report any counterfiet stamp to the nearest PKI committee.
Valid letters from the PKI Central Committee are stamped with the authorized stamp and are signed by the secretary general of the PKI Central Committee, by his deputy, or by a member of the secretariat of the PKI Central Committee.
