Het Nieuwsblad voor Sumatra (24 Apr 1950, p.1): the NIT cabinet, discussing the situation after APRIS troops arrived, decided to release all those arrested in the Masamba, Kakas, Rembigen and Tondano affairs, among them Mrs Salawati Daud.
