Communist Blueprint for Asia (Western Mail, 18 August 1949)
Western Mail (Perth), 18 August 1949, p. 10, Denis Warner's anti-communist article 'Communist Blueprint for Asia'. It claims the February 1948 Calcutta Southeast Asia Youth and Students' Conference carried Moscow's instructions for revolt to Australia, Malaya, Burma, Korea, the Philippines and Vietnam. Indonesia's delegate was Francisca Fanggidaej, who the article wrongly calls 'his' and says may not be communist. It adds that Republican execution of communists, including Amir Sjarifuddin, divided nationalists from the Communist Party.
Western Mail (Perth), 18 Agustus 1949, hlm. 10, artikel antikomunis Denis Warner 'Communist Blueprint for Asia'.
“Lists 'Indonesia, Francisca Fanggidaej' among the Calcutta 'guests'; says the dossier gives little sign of 'his' true politics and 'it is not safe to assume that he was, is, or will be a Communist' (p. 10).”
