Our Fujian puppet troupe tours Indonesia Xinhua News Agency, Jakarta, 7th – The Chinese Fujian puppet troupe left Jakarta by air this morning for Yogyakarta [Jogjakarta] to give touring performances. Accompanying them was Mrs Mawani [Mawani? – name uncertain], of the Central Committee of the Indonesian Women's Movement Association [Gerwani]. Before going to other cities the puppet troupe gave two performances in Jakarta, winning the general acclaim of the citizens of the Indonesian capital. According to the plan, they will also go to Solo [Surakarta], Malang [Mojokerto? – Chinese transliteration "茉莉芬" uncertain], Surabaya, Semarang, Cirebon and Bandung.
