Renmin Ribao, 19 Januari 1964: Federasi Wanita Tiongkok mengirim kawat ke organisasi wanita Indonesia (我全国妇联致电印度尼西亚妇女组织)
All-China Women's Federation cables Gerwani and Kowani against Seventh Fleet
Xinhua note in Renmin Ribao (19 Jan 1964, p. 5): on 17 January the All-China Women's Federation cabled Gerwani and Kowani, backing Indonesian women's struggle against US Seventh Fleet deployment in the Indian Ocean, said to obstruct Indonesia's confrontation with 'Malaysia'. It expresses confidence in the 'bull-like spirit' of Indonesian women. Example of Chinese-Gerwani anti-imperialist solidarity.
Contoh solidaritas anti-imperialis Tiongkok-Gerwani.
“The ACWF cable to [Gerwani] and Kowani resolutely supports 'the just struggle of the Indonesian people and women against the stationing of the US Seventh Fleet in the Indian Ocean' (p. 5).”
