They will, as always, extend undivided Support and encouragement to this struggle. The leader of the Indonesian women's delegation, Mudikdio, vice chairman of the Indonesian Women's Movement Committee and member of the parliament of Indonesia, stressed: If we do not wage the revolutionary struggle for liquidating colonialism, neocolonialism, and imperialism, we cannot say that we have assumed the responsibility for the emancipation of women, and consequently, this will be nothing but a deception. The meeting was attended by labor heroines, women labor innovators, and a large number of women workers in the domain of science, education, culture, arts, and the public health in the city. When delagation leader Madikdio and other members of the delegation appeared on the platform, the attendants of the meeting warmly welcomed the Indonesian guests with prolonged applause. In her speech, First Vice Chairman Kim Ok-sun stressed that though Indonesia is threatened by neocolonialism of the U.S.-led imperialists, ho menace or heinous intrigue can suppress the fighting spirit of the Indonesian people and women tempered through the protracted anti-~ imperialist struggle. Standing in the van of this struggle, she added, is the steeled Indonesian Communist Party which has accumulated rich experiences in the anti-imperialist struggle. Noting that the successful development of the anti~imperialist revolutionary struggle in Indonesia is greatly inspiring the Asian, African, and Latin American peoples fighting for national liberation, Kim Ok-sun emphasized: This constitutes a precious contribution to the struggle for frustrating the policy of aggression and war pursued by the U.S.-led imperialists and for preserving peace in Asia and the rest of the world. Saying that the Korean and. Indonesian women have many things in common in their struggle against imperialism and colonialism, she referred to the struggle of the Korean people against the colonial rule of the Japanese imperiailists and then against the U.S. imperialists’! armed invasion as well as to their present sliuggle for the socialist construction of the country. === [PDF page 3] === The Korean women highly value the solidarity with the Indonesian women who are firmly wiited with them through the common struggle against imperialism and colonialism, Kim Ok-sun declared in conclusion. Delegation leader Mudikdio.took the floor amid the warm applause of the attendants. Referring to the purpose of the visit ofthe Indonesian women's delegation to Korea, she said: Our visit is designed to consolidate the friendship between the Korean and Indonesian peoples learning from the experiences of the struggle of the Korean people. The Indonesian women are well aware of the danger of imperialism and neocolonialism, and the; keep fighting against them. Therefore, at the World Women's Congress held in Moscow the Indonesian women's delegation took it as the guiding principle that a fight must be waged against colonialism and imperialism for the rights of women, the happiness of children, national independence, and peace. Expressing support for the activities of the Korean women's delegation at the Moscow Women's Congress, she said: We demanded that the congress formulate the general line of the future world women's movement for uniting and mobilizing the women of the world for the struggle against colonialism, imperialism, and neocolonialism headed by the U.S- imperialism, the foe of women's happiness and progress. All the women at the congress said that a common enemy imposes upon them misfortune, poverty, and the pain of exploitation. Certain people, however, refused to write down the name of the enemy in the documents and resolutions of the congresSe In fact these people also know that in the world there exist colonialisn, neocolonialism and imperialism, the dangerous malady hampering the progress of women and children and all mankind. Nevertheless, they grudge the elucidation of this and decline to make this clear before millions of women who are now suffering from this malady. The best remedy for this malady is the revolutionary struggle waged by the oppressed people and countries together with the socialist countries for smashing colonialism, neocolonialism and imperialism, Mudikdio stressed. Noting that history does not yet know that the complete national independence and peace and the rights of women were won without revolutionary struggle, she said: Therefore, it is our duty to unite all the forces. It is the duty of the oppressed people, together with the entire vorld peace-loving people and the people of the socialist camp, to deliver decisive blows to the imperialists. === [PDF page 4] === Pointing ot that the time olhie to build a new world when we bury the imperialists, sue added: Tiissugh our visit, we are more fully convinced that the Korean people under the guidance of the Korean Workers Party and Comrade Kim Il-song, their respécted and beloved leader, will win victory, unify the fatherland, and march forward toward a brighter future, Mudikdio coneluded.
