Twentsch Dagblad Tubantia (15 Dec 1961): at the opening of the Gerwani congress in Jakarta, Sukarno says the Dutch understand only force, rejects 'external' self-determination for New Guinea, and urges housewives not to worry over rice and oil shortages. Twentsch Dagblad Tubantia (15 Des 1961): pada pembukaan kongres Gerwani di Jakarta, Sukarno menyatakan Belanda hanya mengerti kekerasan, menolak penentuan nasib sendiri 'eksternal' bagi Papua, dan mengimbau ibu rumah tangga tak khawatir kelangkaan beras dan minyak. Dewan pertahanan baru bersidang di bawah pimpinannya. Surat kabar menyebut Gerwani komunis.
