Dynamics of Tokyo-Djakarta Interactions, 1951-1966 (Nishihara, 1973)
Masashi Nishihara's 1973 Michigan PhD thesis on Japanese-Indonesian relations 1951-1966: war reparations, the Kishi-Sukarno settlement, lobbies, the Malaysia confrontation and the 'Sukarno groups'. Gerwani appears only once (pp. 285-286): the Nasution-Suharto group's claim that Pemuda Rakyat, Gerwani and SOBSI trained at Halim and killed the generals at Lubang Buaya, followed by the anti-PKI killings. Otherwise it says nothing on women.
Disertasi PhD Michigan 1973 oleh Masashi Nishihara tentang hubungan Jepang-Indonesia 1951-1966: reparasi perang, kesepakatan Kishi-Sukarno, lobi, Konfrontasi Malaysia, dan 'kelompok Sukarno'. Gerwani hanya disebut sekali (hlm.
“pp. 285-286: Nasution-Suharto group claimed Pemuda Rakjat, women's groups (GERWANI) and SOBSI had received military training at Halim and murdered the six generals, burying them at Lubang Buaya.”
