PhD dissertation (Tulane, April 1967) by Jon McEwen Reinhardt in political science on the sources of Indonesian foreign policy under Guided Democracy: West Irian, Malaysia confrontation and the post-coup state. Nothing on Gerwani's activities, members or the 1965 violence against women.
Disertasi PhD (Tulane, April 1967) oleh Jon McEwen Reinhardt, ilmu politik, tentang sumber politik luar negeri Indonesia di masa Demokrasi Terpimpin: Irian Barat, Konfrontasi Malaysia, dan negara pasca-kudeta. Gerwani hanya muncul dalam satu catatan kaki (sekitar hlm. 95, cat.
“Footnote: by October 1962 the PKI claimed two million members, while its four major functional organisations (BTI, SOBSI, Pemuda Rakyat and Gerwani) claimed eleven million (c. p. 95, n. 41).”
